This is a MuniPro demonstration of a redesigned Texas Bond Review Board website. It is not the official BRB site: nothing filed here reaches BRB, and the email addresses shown are BRB's own. The official site is brb.texas.gov.

Recently Approved State Transactions

Where to find state transactions the Board has approved and those BRB expects, plus state debt totals for fiscal year 2025.

Transaction lists

BRB keeps a Recently Approved State Transactions page.

BRB also keeps a spreadsheet of upcoming transactions. The file on BRB's site is named Projected Issuances for FY25 and FY26.

State debt issued and outstanding, fiscal year 2025

These totals come from the BRB Data Center. The state fiscal year runs from September 1 until August 31. BRB's 2026 Debt Affordability Study gives $77.90 billion for the same date (page 5). The study and the Data Center are compiled differently and BRB does not say why they differ; this site shows the Data Center figure.

  • Debt issued in fiscal year 2025: general obligation $1,870,350,000; revenue supported $7,815,365,721; total $9,685,715,721.
  • Debt outstanding in fiscal year 2025: general obligation $16,213,495,000; revenue supported $60,837,610,337; total $77,051,105,337.

Searchable databases

BRB's Searchable Databases page includes State Debt Outstanding. It shows debt outstanding on individual State of Texas issuances, by fiscal year.

BRB lists a State Debt Issuance Fees database on the same page.

Meeting records

The Board's agendas and minutes are on the meetings pages.
